Peter Brill, a retired professional, is introducing impact investing to the West Coast. Impact investing focuses on ensuring resources are invested in groups, companies or businesses meant to result in a positive social return in addition to a financial return. In order to educate the area, Brill scheduled a conference for May 20 at Antioch University. The speakers are both highly successful individuals in the area of impact investing both cofounders of successful non profits.

Developing a strategy and deciding how to invest resources can be a huge challenge, and determining how to effectively measure positive social change. The time has come to carefully consider socially guided investments and to influence some positive social change. The conference is open to all, for more information please visit sustainablechangealliance.org/impact-investing.
